"How do you evade modern life?"
That is the question "Evasion" strives to answer in 118 FREE pages of personal storytelling, compelling narrative and numerous diatribe tangents. In this book, alleged author and dedicated hobo, Nigel Davis describes the intricacies of living outside modern conventions of living. These conventions include: going to collage, getting a job, paying for services and things, the hoarding of possessions, becoming part of the capitalist machine, choosing between organic and synthetic and other modern "bullshit".
However, do not confuse "Evasion" as a guide to become a professional hobo. What lies in the text is a unique story of the author's daring actions as he tries to live off of other people excesses. How he gets his daily meals from the dumpster of a rich, affluent community, how he travels from place to place with cargo trains (as is the fairly iconic hobo transport) and how his friend charms his way in to a 50$ metal concert [...] for FREE.
All in all, “Evasion” is a compelling read and a worthwhile jolt of subculture reality.

udah ah, saya punya komentar yang lebih seru, nih! outside modern conventions of living. Tapi, kayak misalnya pergi-pergian naik kereta kargo, bergerilya makan di rumah temen beda2 tiap harinya, trus nonton bola di atas pohon, itu masuknya kegiatan yang konvensional ya? yaa, kayaknya yg konvensional2 itu tiap culture beda-beda..Idealnya, klo dia bener2 menjalani kehidupan yang tidak konvensional, ujung-ujungnya dia masuk rumah sakit jiwa. klo dia masih bisa ngehandle kegiatan2nya, berarti hidup dia masih "biasa-biasa aja".

This is NOT A REVIEW BLOG.
Here in this blog, we either write about the Creative Commons license or provide links to FREE content Free content that is either Creative Commons Licensed, In the Public Domain or using a license outside of oppressive copyright laws.
Therefore it is not my job, to extol the downsides of this book as you say i must do, there is no point.
However, it IS my job to get you to read this. And get you interested in learning what Creative Commons is and what it can do for you.
