<p>Kesuksesan para pengembang free/open-source software sepertinya telah menginspirasi masyarakat dunia di bidang lain baik dalam format digital maupun fisik/analog untuk melakukan metode open-source dalam menciptakan, mengembangkan dan mendistribusikan karyanya. Di ranah digital, hal ini bukanlah hal yang baru dan lebih mudah untuk dipahami dan dilakukan meskipun wacananya masih terus diperdebatkan. Hal ini menjadi makin menarik ketika metode open-source diterapkan dalam produksi karya fisik/analog. Tentu saja proses produksinya menggunakan riset yang panjang dan teliti untuk mencapai keberhasilannya. Sebuah forum baik online maupun offline adalah salah satu cara yang potensial untuk membangun proyek tersebut, karena sifat interaktifitas antara produsen, calon konsumen, peneliti, pakar ekonomi, praktisi teknologi industri dan produsen/desainer lainnya sangat diharapkan dalam mengembangkan produk tersebut secara terbuka.</p>
<p>Setelah <a href="http://xeroxed.yesnowave.com/?p=337">Free Beer</a> sukses diproduksi oleh kelompok seni <a href="http://superflex.dk/" target="_blank">Superflex</a>, kini seorang desainer produk asal India, <a href="http://saikatbiswas.com/web/About.htm" target="_blank">Saikat Biswas</a> mencoba mengembangkan sebuah konsep desain produksi kamera Holga. Kamera ini dinamainya <strong>Holga D</strong>. Desain konsep kamera ini sedang dikembangkan oleh sang desainer melalui sebuah forum di situs pribadinya. Holga D adalah kamera digital berbasis kamera analog bernama Holga, sebuah kamera mainan murah yang memiliki karakter kuat yaitu munculnya vignet di bagian pinggir sebuah foto dan adanya bocoran cahaya yang justru memberi nilai artistik khas.</p>
<p>Konsep desain kamera ini belumlah 100% fix dan siap produksi. Pada situs pribadinya, Saikat Biswas memaparkan secara rinci apa dan bagaimana kamera ini akan diproduksi dengan menggunakan metode open-source. Ada dua hal penting yang ia soroti, yaitu: 1) Open-source product consumer development; dimana konsumen/user secara terbuka memiliki andil dalam mengembangkan produk ini sesuai dengan kebutuhannya. 2) Homebrew software; maraknya pencipta alat produksi oleh firmware atau produsen unofficial yang menyediakan platform-nya secara terbuka untuk pengembangan proses manufaktur secara mandiri. Kedua hal ini diyakini akan turut membantu produksi kamera Holga D secara luas oleh siapa saja tanpa adanya hak paten yang mengikat.</p>

<p>FREE BEER is a beer which is free in the sense of <em>freedom</em>, not in the sense of <em>free beer</em>.</p>
<p>The project, originally conceived by Copenhagen-based artist collective <a href="http://superflex.dk/" target="_blank">Superflex</a> and students at the Copenhagen IT University, applies modern free software / open source methods to a traditional real-world product - namely the alcoholic beverage loved and enjoyed globally, and commonly known as beer.</p>
<p>FREE BEER is based on classic ale brewing traditions, but with addded Guaraná for a natural energy boost. The recipe and branding elements of FREE BEER is published under a Creative Commons (Attribution-ShareAlike 2.5) license, which means that anyone can use the recipe to brew their own FREE BEER or create a derivative of the recipe. Anyone is free to earn money from FREE BEER, but they must publish the recipe under the same license and credit our work. All design and branding elements are available to beer brewers, and can be modified to suit, provided changes are published under the same license (”Attribution &amp; Share Alike”)</p>
<p>FREE BEER is based on Vores Øl v. 1. FREE BEER v 3.0 is currently under revision by Skands Brewery and is scheduled to hit the shelves in Denmark (and hopefully be available for purchase online) by mid june 2006.</p>

<p><strong>1. Can you tell me how you used to initially establish Sociopath and what his motivation behind it all?</strong></p>
<p>In the end of 2006, I registered myspace account and uploaded some of my works. Soon, a label, Core:back Records (France) asked me for an ep. Then, I was just thinking that maybe I could create a label like that. In the begining, my friend, Moorie from Germany gave me a three tracks ep for the first release of Sociopath Recordings. Then I put out two of myself ep. At the same time, I started to search some cool artists on myspace and asked them if interested to contribute an ep or album for Sociopath Recordings. Motivation is easy, just promote some cool and creative music from bedroom musician, producers and DJs.</p>
<p><strong>2. You once said that Breakcore also still a few fans in Taiwan as in Indonesia. But you can establish that specializes netlabel to release Breakcore and other experimental electronic music. How can you run it all? And can you tell me the development of electronic music Scene in Taiwan. Especially Breakcore?</strong></p>
<p>I think breakcore music is not popular like other music genre even in the whole world. But that's fine. Some ppl like what they like . That's enough. Now the movement of Sociopath Recordings was still stayed at promoting various genre o music and becoming a famous label in the world. Cuz now there is only one person who manages this label. I need more promoters to join.</p>
<p>The whole eletronic music scene in Taiwan is developed well I think. Lots of famous DJs and producers have ever come to Taiwan for gigs. My friends" Back 2 the Future (B2TF), they have ever invited Drumcorps (Aaron Spectre) to Taiwan. B2TF is only party promoter crew, it's also a music label. I think that is good begining. Until now, talent party (not only breakcore) are there.</p>
<p><strong>3. I've heard on your project. I feel you seem to enter the elements of ethnic Taiwanese music in it. It reminds me of Terbujurkaku. Breakcore One project in Indonesia which also includes a special Indonesian music, dangdut. How big is the young generation in Thailand appreciation of Taiwanese culture?</strong></p>
<p>Actually, i dont know how many ppl in Tawian who have ever listened to my music even know who Ironska is. XD I used lots of samples and elements of Taiwanese native music that because I hope everyone can know Taiwanese cultures and has interested in Taiwanese stuff.</p>
<p><strong>4. Sociopath Breakcore it self although a netlabel based in Taiwan. But the roosters who take shelter in there instead mostly from America and Europe. How can you cooperate with them? Can you tell what if a musician wants to cooperate with Sociopath?</strong></p>
<p>It just happened. After the first 3 month, I started getting the demo from many different country by email. Until now, i still get demo when open email box every couple days. I always communicate with the artists by email. Tell them which quality of mp3 i want, send me personal photo and other stuff.</p>
<p><strong>5. How do you describe in one sentence when he hears the words below?</strong><br />
-Venetian Snare = King of breakcore!<br />
- Kamikaze Deadboy = Amazing boy with amazing thought!<br />
- Sir Vixx = A man with horrible tattoo but pretty nice guy with sick music!<br />
- GC. "The Winston" Coleman = Father of amen breaks!<br />
- Ragga Twins = Ragga MC do some breakdance!!!</p>
<p><strong>6. Any last words to convey to friends in Indonesia?</strong></p>

He also teaches workshops on "Unleashing the Voice", and plays in ESP-Disk's free-jazz quartet The Naked Future. His paintings offer a visual depiction of said future, where humans, animals, and angels live in naked, bestial harmony. Malaikat Dan Singha (K Records, 2009) is an album that melds all of these influences and more: Arrington's unleashed vocals are sung entirely in Indonesian, and may contain translations of William Blake and the Zohar.</p>

<p>Dalam salah satu interview yang saya lakukan terhadap <strong>Bongky</strong>, salah satu tetua Potlot scene dan kini menjadi mastermind band <strong>Warteg Boys</strong>, dia mengingatkan kami, “orang Indonesia itu ngehe’;  datang dari kampung lalu mengalami culture shock di kota, mereka merasa cool karena itu.” Kami menangkap maksud <strong>Bongky</strong> bahwa ngehe’ yang dimaksud adalah sok keren, kampungan, namun jatuhnya menjadi kitsch. <strong>Warteg Boys </strong>yang hadir dengan gaya kampungan lewat logat Tegal ala tongkrongan mas-mas di warteg, musik hip-hop seadanya, dan lirik katrok justru menjadi cool di mata kami. Sudah banyak kasus kitsch seperti ini sepanjang pengalaman kami menikmati seni. Di dunia seni rupa kami juga menemukan <strong>Andri Mochammad</strong>, <strong>Eko Nugroho</strong>, dan <strong>Mufti Priyanka</strong> dari Bandung dan Yogyakarta yang mengusung nilai kampungan tapi sensitif lewat karya-karyanya (bisa lewat visual, term-term yang sering mereka gunakan, kalimat-kalimat norak, dan figur-figur norak di karyanya).</p>
<p>Saya suka berbicara soal geografis saat mengulas sebuah rilisan. Kali saja ada benarnya bahwa posisi si artis berpengaruh terhadap output karyanya. Ada benar dan ada salahnya. <strong>Korine Conception</strong> dari Medan yang panas dan berapi-api justru bisa membuat musik indie rock yang dingin dan bergemuruh seperti banyak musisi Bandung lakukan di karya-karya shoegaze, indie rock, dan post rock-nya. <strong>Aneka Digital Safari</strong> dari Bandung justru membakar crowd lewat noise perihnya dalam setiap performance. Kalau begini, berarti teori geografis itu salah. Namun bagaimana kalau kami menyebut bahwa dugaan tersebut benar karena <strong>TerbujurKaku</strong> melakukan itu di <em>Megamix Album: Koplo Goes to Breakcore</em>.</p>
<p>Koplo adalah dangdut uptempo yang berkembang di jalur-jalur perlintasan truk-truk pendukung industri dan infrastruktur ekonomi di Indonesia, khususnya pulau Jawa. Sudah hadir sekitar awal 90-an sejak house music (bukan House dalam huruf besar seperti yang dilakukan dewa-dewa disko di <strong>The Paradise Garage</strong> dan party-party <strong>The Loft</strong> pada tahun 70-an!) berkembang di Indonesia. Saat itu, selain banyak meremix lagu-lagu pop Indonesia di masanya, DJ-DJ Jl. Gajahmada dan Kota, Jakarta banyak memasukkan unsur dangdut yang intens di set mereka. Akhirnya musik tersebut berkembang dalam bentuk house musik ala Indonesia yang ngebut. Mengingatkan kami pada speed garage yang besar di UK di awal 90-an bersamaan dengan masa emasnya hardcore (bukan <strong>Minor Threat</strong> and so on! Tapi hardcore versi keras dari UK garage, sisi lain dari breakbeat dan drum and bass!) di negeri tersebut. Cepatnya bisa sampai 150 sampai 170 bpm, kecepatan yang kini bisa Anda dengar di musik drum and bass.</p>

<p>The OFL allows the licensed fonts to be used, studied, modified and redistributed freely as long as they are not sold by themselves. The fonts, including any derivative works, can be bundled, embedded, redistributed and/or sold with any software provided that any reserved names are not used by derivative works. The fonts and derivatives, however, cannot be released under any other type of license. The requirement for fonts to remain under this license does not apply to any document created using the fonts or their derivatives.</p>
